Another concert, and more front row tickets. I finally meet the music writer from the Journal, Sandra. And she gives me a present -- Rufus Wainwright's DVD of his Judy Garland concert! Plants & Animals open up. They're very enjoyable, though their set began with rainforest sounds through the loud speakers. And when they walk out, the three band members remind me of tree hugging hippies. They might be, they might not be. But their music is inventive. Another upcoming band from Canada's hotbed of musical talent in Montreal.COMMENTS?

Patrick Watson is even more inventive. I am very impressed with the Polaris prize winning band from Toronto. Their music is sonically adventurous and enlightening. COMMENTS?
