R.E.M. with Dandy Warhols & Wilco

After exploring UBC for the first time, it's time to enter the Zone and await R.E.M.'s performance. The Dandy Warhols & Wilco both open for the band, and their sets are incredible. Michael Stipe has his drawing power, being the front man for the Rear End Men band. Thom Yorke surprises the audience by joining Stipe in "E-bow" and the closing number "End of the World." I don't know how I survive the concert...it must be a mixture of the heatstroke, the strong second hand marijuana smoke, and my congested sinuses all in one. The concert rocks!
