Oh my fucking God! I finally meet Chantal Kreviazuk after seeing her sing for the 11th time live! And I meet the handsomely fucking hot Raine Maida! Raine Maida put on another awesome show. Backed by wife and singer Chantal Kreviazuk, they rocked Capital Ex. After the show, and with 52 minutes left till my 30th birthday, Raine & Chantal Kreviazuk wished me a happy birthday. Chantal was about to leave but our screaming and whining kept her from attending her crying baby. I feel bad, but she said "Wayne I'll be right there!" Though she didn't sing her song "Wayne" to me, she was genuine and so was Raine. Damn they're the closest thing to a Canadian superstar couple! COMMENTS?

Chantal Kreviazuk plays Capital X's "EDfest" July 22. It's my 10th time seeing her live. I've seen her play the day before my birthday once, and now I see her perform the day after my birthdate. I scream out "GREEN APPLES" loudly and she hears me. She plays the song right away. The weather is great for this evening performance...no breeze, not too hot, and the concert ends with her singing with fireworks lighting up the sky. LEAVE A COMMENT

Chantal Kreviazuk plays the Jubilee Auditorium. Her husband Raine Maida, frontman of Our Lady Peace, is her special guest. Chantal is the artist I've seen more than any other musical act. It's the 9th time I have the pleasure of listening to her beautiful voice. It's the third time I hear Raine Maida, but the first time as a solo act. More story to come...especially about the nerve of some people, and by people I mean stalkers. LEAVE A COMMENT

Here is Chantal's setlist:
Before You / Time / Surrounded / Morning Light (I love this song...though it reminds me of Brian) /
Feels Like Home / Wayne (So happy she sang my song, because she didn't last time at Sidetrack) /
Brenda's Song / Waiting / Far Away / Weight of the World / Leaving on a Jet Plane /
Julia (after she tells her Nicole Kidman story) / In This Life / What If It All Means Something
Encore: Green Apples (finally she plays it again) / Bob Marley's Redemption Song / Heaven Is
Hard to Find (Chantal on Guitar!) / Peter Gabriel's Here Comes the Flood
