My Mariah friend Sherisse and I attend Boyz II Men's concert at the River Cree Casino & Resort. It's her first time in a casino, and it's also my 14th concert of the year. The Boyz have been along for a long time, 15 years, and they lost a member 4 years ago. They do put on a good show but it's full of cheese. "On Bended Knee," they bend down on one knee, during "I'll Make Love To You," they hand out roses to the ladies and "End of the Road" closes the show. I knew Sherisse wanted to buy a VIP package to meet the Boyz so I go along. We meet the Boyz and have a very short conversation. I tell Shawn that I really wanted to hear "One Sweet Day," but I guess Mariah is in Paris. I see quite the number of friends and aquaintances at the casino, from Betty and her lovely girlfriend, a kung fu member and a former coworker. LEAVE A COMMENT
